Bonnie T. "Dodo" Stone



Bonnie Taylor "Dodo" Stone, 67, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her son's home in Spring Grove, Pa.

Born July 20, 1946, in Grampian, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Peters Freeman. She was the wife of Jack Stone, her husband of eight years. 

Family and friends always played a huge part in her life.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son Thomas Taylor and wife Deanna, of Spring Grove; a daughter, Tammy Taylor, of Hanover, Pa.; grandchildren Ryan Taylor and wife Ashley, of York, Pa., Courtney Taylor, of Hanover, and Chase and Kirstyn Taylor, of Spring Grove; step-grandchildren Alex and Sterling Beam, of Westminster; and brother Bill Freeman and wife Judy, of Grampian, Pa.

She was predeceased by sisters Leah Mae Gum and Ellen Jean Freeman.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Hanover. A memorial service for friends and relatives in the Curwensville area will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. David's United Church of Christ, 142 Hobart Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
