Charlotte Ann Wisner, 84 of Inverness, FL June 21, 1930- June 26, 2014 . God took her home after a long battle with COPD at Hospice of Citrus and The Nature Coast of Inverness, FL. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Teresa Greensfelder Thompson. She is survived by her husband of sixty- six years Howard Robert Wisner, Sr. of Inverness, FL. Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Howard Jr. Robert, Leonard , John, Teresa Marie Wisner Shipley and Charles. Her siblings included her brothers and sisters Leonard , Robert, Bernard, Frances Quade, Mary Ann Null, Mary Frances, Charles, John, Joseph, James, and Henry. She is survived by 9 grandchildren: Christopher, Thomas, Jason, Chad, Jennifer, Edward, Adam, Bradley and Casey and 5 great grandchildren: Amanda, Dawson, Logan, Kiley and Brody. Her extended family that she cared for included Cindy Hoff Buckwalter and Heather Hoff. Charlotte was a giving person and touched the lives of many throughout her life. Her children and grandchildren's friends all knew her as "Granny" because she had a heart of gold. She worked on the family dairy farm while raising her six children and caring for her elderly family members. She was a school bus driver in Carroll County Maryland, loved gardening, canning, baking, needlepoint and sewing. She loved listening to country music and dining out with family. She especially loved family trips to the beach, theme parks, cruises and her cat, "Scoobie". She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Eldersburg. Donations in Honor of Charlotte A. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment in Springfield Cemetery, Sykesville.
