Constance Madeline Krebs, 81, of Union Bridge, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at home.
Born Nov. 24, 1931, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Sauble Shriver. She was the wife of Larry D. Krebs, who died in 1992.
She had been a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW
Post 8806, Union Bridge. She enjoyed sewing and completing word search puzzles.
Surviving are daughters Cherie M. Sherretts, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Kathy A. Stambaugh, of Union Bridge, and Cindy M. Angles, of Manchester; sons Gene D. Krebs, of Rising Sun, and Keith T. Krebs, of Glen Burnie; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Walter Merle Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard L. Michael, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church in Union Bridge, officiating. Interment will be in Winters Cemetery in New Windsor.
