David Bruce Rambol, 75, of Hanover, Pa., formerly of Hampstead, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born Aug. 14, 1937, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Francis and Bertha Molnaur Rambol. He was the husband of Charlotte Leah Jenkins Rambol, who died in 1997.
He was a retired systems analyst for Bethlehem Steel. He was an endowment member of the NRA. He was a life member of the Safari Club, a member of the York and Adams County Fish and Game Association, and the Littlestown Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed big game hunting and shooting sporting clays. He and his wife enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
Surviving are children Susan Geiman and husband Robert, of Manchester, and David B. Rambol II and wife Rebecca, of Hanover; grandchildren Robert Jr., Jacob and Adam Geiman, Chasity Foerster and Laura Tawes; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brother, John Rambol.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. Scott Sager officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Baltimore.
