Hamilton Howard "Ham" Leitch, 69, of Westminster, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at home, of cancer.
Born Nov. 13, 1943, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Hamilton W. and Martha Emge Leitch. He was the husband of Priscilla Ann Leitch, his wife of 38 years.
Over the years he worked in engineering for companies such as Kennecott, Mold Craft, Sippel Electric, National Instrument, Hedwin and Sodico.
He was past Commodore and life member of the Maryland Yacht Club, and was a member of the Chesapeake Commodores Club. He was an Army
veteran. He enjoyed riding his Harley Trike, boating, and his pets, especially his teacup poodle Peaches.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters and sons-in-law Tamira Lynn and Bill Fletcher, of Glen Rock, Pa., Deborah and Rickey James, and Donna and David James, all of Darlington, S.C..; a stepbrother, David Tresselt, of Colorado; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and friends Butch and Trudy Chapman, of Chestertown, and Tom and Kate Howard, of Grand Valley.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Penny Faith; and a stepmother, Madeline Leitch.
Per his request there will be no services.
