Lee G. Jordan, 86, of Finksburg, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.
Born Nov. 17, 1926, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Leo J. Jordan and Dorothy Testudine Jordan. His wife Mary B. "Pat" Jordan died August 3, 2004.
Before retiring he owned and operated Glen Auto Sales in Brooklyn for 44 years. He also worked as a draftsman at Maryland Institute and Flynn & Emerich. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the VFW
Molleville Farm Post No. 467 and Central Maryland Alzheimer's Association. He belonged to the association for 27 years.
He enjoyed bowling and dancing. He served in the Air Force during WWII
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Glenn P. and Cynthia Jordan, of Finzel; grandchildren and fiancees Jerry Staub Jr. and Megan Faidley, and Brandan Staub and Valerie Comire, all of Finzel; great-grandchildren Brayden James Staub and Nevaeh Cheyanne Staub, of Finzel; close friend JD Dalfonzo, of Finksburg; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
