William F. Warner, 93, of Lineboro, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at home.
Born May 5, 1919, in Manchester, he was the son of the late Raymond F. and Catharine Shaeffer Warner. He was the husband of the late M. Wanda McFarland Warner.
He was a miller with R.F. Warner Sons in Lineboro. He also served in the Army
during World War II
He and his wife enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Gingham Squares in Westminster and Little Rock Squares in Centennial, Pa. He also liked farming and camping.
He was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ Church. He also was a member of Lineboro fire company and the Hampstead American Legion.
Surviving are sons John F. Warner and wife Lynne, and Allen W. Warner and wife Kate, all of Lineboro; grandchildren Scott Warner, Jennifer Warner, Stacey Graf, Anna Warner, Katie Rae Warner; and great-grandchildren Kaeden Warner, Cheyenne Graf and Cole Graf.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Geiple Funeral Home, 53 Main St., Glen Rock, Pa.; and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5010 S. Church St., Lineboro, with the Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating. Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
