Nadine B. Sadler, 78, of Hanover, Pa., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at home.
Born Aug. 16, 1934, in Greenmount, she was the daughter of the late Curvin R. and Mary Miller Bankert. She was the wife of James A. Sadler, her husband of 61 years.
She drove a bus for Carroll County Schools and for the Arc of Carroll County. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hanover.
She enjoyed golf, bowling, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed time with her dog, Midget.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Andy Sadler, and Pamela Hyde and husband Tommy, all of Union Bridge, James Sadler III and wife Vicki, of Rockford, Ill., Debra Burk and husband Brian, of Lugoff, S.C., and Donna Franklin, of Hanover; a sister, Ann Miller, of Hanover; a brother, Curvin Bankert Jr., of Hanover; grandchildren Paula Hyde, Patricia Thayer, Daniel Burk, Hannah Burk, Rebecca Pennington, Lauren Franklin, Colton Anthony, Ashley Sadler, J.T. Hyde and Jesse Hyde; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Friday at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with the Rev. Richard D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hampstead.
