Andrew Douglas Martin, 27, of Hampstead, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.

Born Sept. 23, 1985, in Westminster, he was the son of Douglas and Terry Rill Martin, of Hampstead.

He was a 2003 graduate of Hereford High School, a 2005 graduate from the Community College of Baltimore County and a 2007 graduate of The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts. He was the owner of DJ Anderman Sound. He was a machinist with Ridge Engineering and a sound engineer.

He was a member of Black Rock Church of the Brethren in Glenville, Pa. He liked working on ATV's, dirt bikes, cars and enjoyed composing, writing and recording music.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Brittany Martin, of Hampstead; a brother, Curtis Martin, of Hampstead; grandparents Amos and Janet Martin, of Hampstead, and Elwood and Elizabeth Rill, of Glen Rock, Pa.; aunts and uncles Larry and Sedonia Martin, and Suzanne and John Werner, all of Manchester, Kirk and Debbie Mann, of Hampstead, Beth Lesley, of California, and Jennifer Rill, of Florida; and cousins Ida Martin, of New York, Zachary and Connor Mann, and Kurt Sheeley, all of Hampstead, Jason Werner, of Hanover, Pa., Abbie and Eric James, both of Gettysburg, Pa., Derrek and Tanner Lesley, of California, and Jay Sheeley, of Pittsburgh, Pa.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Road, Glenville, with the Rev. David W. Miller and the Rev. Don Hubble officiating.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Road, Glenville, PA 17329 (to be used for the youth groups).

Arrangements are handled by Eline Funeral Home in Hampstead.
