Doris Albaugh Obituary

Doris June Albaugh, 81, of Emmitsburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson. Born July 26, 1929, in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Norman Harrison Lawrence and Blanche Feeser Lawrence. She was the wife of George William Albaugh. In earlier years, she attended Messiah United Methodist Church in Taneytown. She enjoyed her garden and flowers. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a sister, Peggy Lawrence, of York, Pa.; a brother, Allen Lawrence, of Emmitsburg; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Gaylard and Margaret Albaugh, of Summerfield, Fla., Jane and Clinton Crushong, of Union Bridge, and Minnie and Bill Jackson, of Westminster; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters; and a brother. There will be no visitation or service. Online condolences may be offered at www.hartzlerfuneralhome.com.
