George Norman Hunter was a classmate of mine and also of my husband Tom Roch. We enjoyed our years together at Westminster High School, and as I am responsible, as class secretary, to have the Class Reunions in Westminster, we were never able to find where George moved when he left Westminster, so he did not keep in touch with anyone. I certainly would like to hear from Mrs. Vera Hunter, just to touch base with her and let her know, if she is interested, that we hold a small Class Reunion in Westminster each summer, and I am now working on a date for the 2012 year, our 65th. Sorry that we had to find him through his obituary. Condolences to all his family. Nellie Beacham Roch

Vera and family ~ I was honored to have played music with George in Elliott' Burgher's band The Moonglows. George's mellow musicianship was a great inspiration to me. And there are still a few 'on the band job' stories that after 35+ years, I still hold dear. I'm sorry for your loss and wish you the very best as your healing process continues. It was an honor knowing and working with George.
