Harrison "Cecil" Cecil, 80, of Finksburg, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at his home.
Born April 17, 1931, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Willie Cecil and Cora Harman Cecil. He was the husband of Linda Susan Wheeler Cecil for 22 years.
He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Marines. He owned and operated the Reisterstown Citgo on Main Street. He was a former member of the VFW and Reisterstown Moose.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is son Ray Cecil, of Reisterstown; daughters JaNelda Schumacker, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Pamela Miller, of Utah; step-children Shawna Ballantyne, of Sykesville, Sheila Wymer, of York, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings Edsel Cecil, Trula Babbington and Lily Richard.
He was predeceased by siblings Enoch Cecil, Arlie Shatley, Etta O'Dell, Curtis Cecil, Willie Cecil and Sylvia Walsh.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road.
A funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
