Leslie Wineholt "Les" Null, 75, of Westminster, died suddenly Friday, July 26, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born May 21, 1938, in Frizzellburg, he was the son of the late Russell Null and Elsie Wineholt Null. He was the husband of Deborah Callahan Null, his wife of 33 years.

He graduated from Taneytown High School in 1956. He served in the Air Force. Before retiring, he worked as a telecommunication engineer for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies.

He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, volunteering for the Table of Grace, at funeral luncheons, as an usher and for communion. He also enjoyed doing yard work and volunteering his time at Shepherd's Staff to care for the grounds. Additionally, he enjoyed watching the Orioles and spending time with family and grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Lara Lynn Huffman and husband Norman R. Jr., of Littlestown, Pa., Shawn L. Null and wife Katrina Kickbush, of Lutherville, Jennifer E. Null and companion Gregg Handley, of Hanover, Pa.; siblings Donald Null and wife Nancy, Richard M. Null and Jane N. Rohrbaugh, all of Westminster; half-sister Thada E. Robb, of Aliquippa, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, with the Revs. Martha and Kevin Clementson officiating. A private interment will be held at Baust Church Cemetery.
