Lillie Mae Glacken, of Thurmont, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick.
Born in Legore, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Naomi Scott. She was the wife of the late Russell Reed, William Reed and Maurice Glacken.
She was a seamstress with a clothing factory in Westminster. She was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge No. 1381, and enjoyed visiting Charlestown, W.Va.
Surviving are children Charles Reed and wife Pam, and Monty Reed, all of Taneytown, Shirley May and husband Raymond, Ann O'Brien and husband Patrick, and Lynn Welsh and husband Ronnie, all of Thurmont; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Howard Reed; a daughter, Lillie May; a grandson, Travis Lupo; brothers Harry and Charles Scott; and sisters Bertha and Donalene Scott.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery near Linwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
