Louise Gamber Myers, 89, of Westminster, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.
Born April 25, 1923, in Gamber, she was the daughter of the late Levi Elmer Gamber and Margie Mancha Gamber. She was the wife of Charles "Carl" Myers, her husband of 62 years, who died April 17, 2010.
Before retiring she worked for Dr. Paul Keener and then worked at Carroll Hospital Center. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons John E. Hyde, of Finksburg, and Dr. C. Brent Myers, of Westminster; grandchildren Darrell Hyde, of New Windsor, Dr. Kelly Hyde, of Santa Fe, N.M., Cheryl Esiason, of Manhasset, N.Y., Michael Hyde, of Westminster, Zachary B. Myers, of San Diego, Calif., Jesse P. Myers, of Rockville, and Kole D. Myers, of Champaign, Ill.; and great-grandchildren Elliott, Tristan, Regan, Brennon, Gunnar and Sydney.
She was predeceased by sisters Larue Wimert, Beryl Krebs, Geneva Warner and Leona Bailey.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster with her pastor, the Rev. Kevin Clementson, the Rev. Martha Clementson and Vicar Karin Albaugh officiating. Inurnment will be held at Grace Lutheran Church columbarium.
