Paul Frank Deba, 85, of Owings Mills, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at home.
Born Aug. 1, 1927, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Caroline Zahradnick Deba and was predeceased by his father. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. Deba.
He received the World War II
Victory Medal having served honorably with the Army's 79th Amphibious Tractor Company as a tank driver and in the Army Reserves during the Korean War
. He was an analyst for the Social Security Administration.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children and son-in-law Gail and Bill Phannenstiel, and Gary Deba, all of Owings Mills, and Gerry T. Deba, of Reisterstown; and a grandson, Matthew Deba.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
Prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery with military honors at 10 a.m.
