Richard Leroy Calp, 48, of New Freedom, Pa., formerly of Manchester, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born June 8, 1964, in Hanover, Pa., he was the son of Robert Landon Calp and Vera Lorraine Parry Calp, of Manchester. He was the partner of Lisa Ann Lemire, of New Freedom.

He was an avid Ravens fan who enjoyed the outdoors, riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and partner, are sons Cody and Kyle Calp; stepdaughters Arin Marie and Billie-Jo Lemire, and Jessica Ann Ariosa; sisters Bonnie Rill, and Cindy Georg and husband Darrell; a grandmother, Goldie Calp; a granddaughter, Rian Aisleigh Calp; step-grandchildren Skylar and Aubrey Ann Goyden, Francesca Kreider, Nevaeh Jackson, Justice Williams and Ayva Ariosa; nieces Heather Georg, and Jennifer Whitestone and husband Chris; a godson, Ben Reed; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Calp.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel, and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Red Cross, Central Maryland Chapter, 4600 Mount Hope Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215.
