Dear Dana:

My deepest sympathies. I was recently remembering your mother - specifically the lovely and calm manner she displayed when driving us home from the St. Paul’s bus stop 40 years ago. The fact that she drove a Lotus Cortina with a standard shift makes your mother a standout in my collection of childhood memories! If I remember correctly the car was your brother’s. I wish you all the best as you and your family celebrate your mother’s life.

Dana,
I remember my Mom, Helen Gorman, bringing me to your house when we were in "Just 5 Folks" Kindergarten, as we were going on a field trip to the Ag Center that day and your Mom was taking us. She was a lovely lady and I am very sorry for your loss. I would have also seen her at Historical Society events in more recent years, I believe. My sympathy to you and your family. - Meg Gorman Herring
