God Bless Tom's family. May He hold you in the palm of His hand and let His light shine upon you.

"Do not stand at his grave and weep.
He is not there. He does not sleep.
Do not stand at his grave and cry.
He is not there. He did not die!!"

Tom did so much good for so many people. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace with Jesus. Amen

John, I will never forget the great times we had together as roommates. The nights out at Hammer Jacks, the Beaver-Badger that lived under the deck, listening to the Greaseman and Tom making a box of Price Chopper Spaghetti and a jar of Sauce last a week. They were real fun times that have given me a lifetime of memories of Tom. Jo Ann and I often talk about the time we lived in Maryland and the fun times we had back then. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Dear Tammy, your note touched my heart. I just want you to know how much I loved your children. They are so special and are so loving. I had the easy and enjoyable job this past week enjoying Julia's company along with her sweet little cousin, Trini and her cousin Alexa. I had so many hugs from Julia. I didn't know Tom that well as I only met him a few times over the years. One thing I do know from talking to my brother and reading all the wonderful memories is that he was an extraordinay man who will always be remembered. Please call me or write to me anytime if you need to talk. Give a great big hug to Dylan and Julia from me. My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to you and to all Tom's family members. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Aunt Francie

Tom was and will always be the love of my life. I fell in love with Tom the moment I looked into his deep brown eyes, I knew my life would never be same. Tom always made me feel safe and truely loved. Tom didn't show his emotional side to many people in this world but,he did show that side to me and our children. Tom was a loving and devoted father to our kids. I hope that all of Tom's friends and family share their memories of Tom with Julia so that she NEVER forgets her daddy.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories of Tom you shared with us.
I will miss Tom until I meet up with him again in Heaven.

My sympathy to all of Tom's family. We will miss Tom's good nature, and his way of keeping conversations going with lots of questions. On several occasions I ran into Tom when he took Julia to swim at the gym. Tom was patient and everyone could see the strong bond between him and Julia.

Tom was a good sport at racquetball. He never whined about a point and always glad to play someone above or below his level.

Tom, we miss you, and we will see you again one day.

Tom, you will be missed. I only knew you for 2 1/2 yrs but it felt longer. You always had a smile on your face that could brighten anybody's day. I will miss seeing you and talking with you. Especially at the gym playing racquetball. Maybe there is a rball court in heaven with your name on it. Rest in peace my friend.

I also was one of Tom's "racquetball buddies". I didn’t know him real well but when we played he was competitive but fun to play with. Some players get a chip on their shoulder when they are good but Tom wasn’t that way. He was really enjoyable to play with even though he was winning in most cases. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Roddy family,

I am sorry for the loss of such a great son, brother, friend and man. Tom and I had many battles on the racquetball court. His speed and determination to win always pushed me to be a better player. His positive attitude and outlook on life encouraged me! Although it was short, I am blessed to have spent time with Tom. I will greatly miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Roddy Family,

My thoughts and prayers have always been with you. I am very saddened by your loss...
