Bruce Wayne Rogers, 55, of Westminster, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Oct. 20, 1958, in Olney, he was the son of Grover C. Rogers, of Rogersville, Tenn., and the late Joanne Sutton Rogers. He was the husband of Lynda Carol Rogers.
He had been a heavy equipment operator with LaFarge for many years. He was saved at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church as a young boy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his father and wife, are sons William Stull, of Virginia, Joshua and Jason Rogers, of Tennessee, and Bradley Rogers, of Maryland; a daughter, Jessica Rogers, of Virginia; a brother, Thomas Rogers, of Rogersville; a sister, Sandra Farver, of Taneytown; and grandchildren Taylor Walsh, Skylar and Layne Stull and Andrew, Olivia, Seth and Elijah Rogers.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Brandy Stull.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
