Jordan Kent Davis, 25, of Frederick, formerly of Westminster, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 9, 2014, at home.
Born Oct. 19, 1988, in Baltimore, he was the son of Gary Davis and Rebecca George Jarboe. He was the stepson of Patti Davis and Bob Jarboe.
He was a 2009 graduate of Winters Mill High School. He was active at the Way Station in Frederick. He enjoyed music, dancing and being around his family and friends. He attended Westminster Church of the Brethren.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and stepparents, are a sister, Emily Davis; stepbrothers Andy and Nathaniel Jarboe; grandparents Robert and Joyce Davis, Robert George and Dennis and Peggy McCafferty; aunts and uncles Amy and James Timberlake, Steve and Joanne Davis, Michael and Judy McCafferty, Susan McCafferty, and Mary Marsh; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by a stepbrother, Jonathan Jarboe; an uncle, Mike Marsh, and a grandmother, Barbara George.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until time of service, 7 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Church of the Brethren, 1 Park Place, Westminster, with his pastor, the Rev. Glenn McCrickard, officiating. Internment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Special Olympics of Carroll County, 546 Willow Ave., Westminster, MD 21157; or to Best Buddies of Winters Mill High School, Attn: Regina McCombs, 560 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
