Jean May Gamber Johnson, 74, of Westminster, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born May 30, 1939, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Walter Gamber and the late Mary Agnes Sword Gamber. She was the wife of the late Carroll Henry "Ike" Johnson.

She was a custodian for Carroll Community College.

Surviving are children Cheryl Gibbs and James, Henry and Ronnie Johnson; siblings Peg Becraft, Kitty Dragoo and Eddie and Bo Gamber; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings Dorothy Winters and Charlotte, Herman and Rosemary Gamber.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Gibbs officiating. Interment will be in Millers U.M. Church Cemetery, Millers Station, Hampstead.
