Robert Lee Feezer, 81, of Sykesville, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at home.
Born June 15, 1932, in Harrisonville, he was the son of the late John F. Feezer Sr. and Frances Durbeck Feezer. He was the husband of Janet Perkins Feezer, of Sykesville, whom he married Aug. 28, 1954.
He owned and operated the Robert L. Feezer Co Inc. since 1962. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves and was a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. He was a longtime member of Wards Chapel United Methodist Church and Freedom Lodge #112, A.F. & A.M. He enjoyed taking many mission trips to Haiti over the years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are brothers John F. "Jack" Jr. and wife Beulah Mae Feezer, of Sykesville, William H. Feezer Sr. and companion Ellen Greenwood, of Sykesville; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and loyal employees.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.
The Freedom Lodge #112 will hold a masonic memorial service 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wards Chapel Cemetery, Randallstown.
