Kevin Walker, 57, of Westminster, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.
Born Aug. 27, 1956, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick E. and Florence King Walker. He was the husband of Nanette Parthree Walker, whom he married April 20, 1985.
He was a field engineer for Stratasys, a 3-D printing company. He enjoyed landscaping and gardening as well as camping, dancing, Irish music, wine festivals, relaxing on the beach, and the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He was known for being creative and always enjoyed helping others in need, especially his neighborhood friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Kristopher Walker, of Westminster; daughter Julie and husband George Henderson, of Annapolis; sister Carol and husband John Gardner, of Arnold; a sister-in-law, Renee Matsis, of Catonsville; grandchildren Stephanie Treverton, Kelly J. Henderson, Kelly N. Henderson, Chelsea Henderson and Megan Henderson; great-grandchildren Randy, Lewis and Lile; and nieces and nephews Angela Stein and husband Eric, Tom Gardner and wife Courtney, Andrew Gardner and wife Holly and Natalie Gardner.
A memorial service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
