William "Mark" Norris, 51, of Hampstead, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.
Born Dec. 23, 1962, in Bethesda, he was the son of Doris Joan Norris of Westminster and the late Lewis Franklin Norris. He was the husband of Michelle Dixon Norris, his wife of seven years.
He was most recently employed with Home Depot. He was an avid hunter, and a Redskins and NASCAR fan.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Elisabeth Buckingham, of Rosedale; daughters Olivia Norris, of Westminster, and Faith Norris, of Washington state; sisters and brothers-in-law Virginia and Larry Jennings, of Union Bridge, Barbara and Tony Raper, of Manchester, and Diane and Bunky Klingler, of Westminster; brothers and sisters-in-law Lewis "Buddy" Jr. and Linda Norris, of Westminster, James Norris, of Hampstead and Kenneth and Bonnie Norris, of Westminster; grandchildren Gavin and Logan Buckingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. The family requests that everyone attending wear casual dress or your favorite NFL jersey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Thomas, of Hereford United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Bixler's Church Cemetery.
