Louise May Lindsay, 79, of Finksburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born November 11, 1934 in Blain, PA, she was the daughter of the late Miles Moreland and the wife of the late Gerald L. Lindsay, Sr. who died May 17, 1977. Retired from Fairhaven, she was a Charter Member of the Gamber and Community Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid Orioles fan, enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by sons Steven L. Lindsay and Gerald L. "Jerry" Lindsay, Jr., both of Finksburg; daughters Donna M. Sutphin, and Tammy R. Lindsay and wife Hazel L. Graybill, all of New Windsor; sisters Barrie "Connie" Moreland of Sykesville and Linda Thomas of Hanover, PA; grandsons Michael Stephens and wife Nickie of Finksburg, Kelly Stephens and wife Kasey of Finksbug and Wayne Bennett and wife Charity of Westminster; granddaughter Heidi Wenner and husband Butch of Boonsboro; great granddaughters Shayla Stephens of Finksburg, Britney Bennett of Westminster and Harley and Chelsea Wenner of Boonsboro; great grandson Daniel Stephens of Finksburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by grandson Garrett Lindsay, brother and sister-in-law Clayton and Libby Moreland, by son-in-law Daniel "Jake" Sutphin, and by special cousin Jim Neidigh. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. The Gamber and Community Fire Company will have a memorial service on Sunday at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1pm at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bishop Brent Gadsbury.
