Jennifer L. Ebert, 40, of Sykesville, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born June 13, 1972, in Westminster, she was the daughter of Beverly Barnhart, of Churchton, and the late Melvin Barnhart. She was the wife of Mark E. Ebert.

She was actively involved with the Sykesville Raiders, and the Freedom Area Recreation Council. She also enjoyed helping others.

Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are sons Zachary Schwartz and Hunter Ebert; a daughter, Shelby Ebert; a sister, Karen Bellew, of Reisterstown; and brother, Ken Barnhart of Reisterstown.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Deer Park Cemetery in Reisterstown.
