Bobby Joe Woodrum, 76, of Liberty, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born on Feb. 5, 1941, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Everett and Rena Grant Woodrum. He was retired from the Ford Motor Co. and was a U.S. Army veteran. Bobby was a member of Dunnville Church of God. He loved to hunt and fish and he enjoyed detailing cars.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones Woodrum of Liberty, whom he married Sept. 4, 1992; three sons, Bradley (Joyce) Woodrum of Louisville, Randy (Nataliya) Yazell of Liberty and Keith (Gabriella) of Frankfort; two daughters, Betsy Jo (Garland) Stacy of Shelbyville and Darla (David) Miller of Finchville; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Betty (Norman) Bastin of Liberty.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Woodrum; and a granddaughter, Krystina Yazell.

The funeral is at noon Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Dunnville Church of God, 13035 South U.S. 127 in Dunnville with Brothers Ted Stidham and J.R. Grant officiating. Burial with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard follows in Whited Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers are Russell Jones, Matthew Yazell, David Miller, Garland Stacy, Elijah Pitman, Keith Yazell, Byron Edwards and Jason Allen.

Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Edwards, J.R. Grant, Bethany Stacy, Ashley Stacy and Brad Woodrum.
