Clarence "P.I." Fair passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at his home in Casey County. He was 79. Born Jan. 7, 1933 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Joe and Ella Whitehead Fair. He was a self-employed mechanic and member of White Oak Church. Mr. Fair was the widower of Betty J. Cook Fair. Survivors include two sons, Mike (and Tracy) Fair and David Fair, both of Liberty; three daughters, Kym (and Ed) Leffew of Junction City and Ginifer Fair and Beth Fair, both of Liberty; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Helen Faye (and Fred) Ledford of Liberty and Ruth Hayes, Judy Kissimee and Margaret Ratliff, all of Indiana. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Hubert, Clifton, Billy and Omer Fair. Funeral services were Aug. 19 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro.
