Curtis Cravens of Waynesburg passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. He was 62. Born Jan. 20, 1952 in Boyle County, he was the son of Thelma Rose Shell Cravens of Liberty and the late James Merle Cravens. He was a retired factory worker and a former fire chief at the Waynesburg Fire Department Station #5. He loved four wheeling and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his beloved wife, Aunda Durham Cravens, whom he married Sept. 20, 1978; three daughters, Barbie (and Allen) Taylor of Indianapolis, Ind., Danea (and Eric) Carman of Bethelridge and Keisha Cravens (and Ernie Carter Jr.) of Eubank; four grandchildren, Tuesday, Aryan, Dylan and Brandon; a brother, Ronald Lee Cravens of Liberty; and two sisters, Mildred (and Doug) Mills of Liberty and Jean Cravens of Versailles. Funeral services were Dec. 13 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bros. Ronnie Haste and Bobby Clark officiating. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
