Dale Foster, 82, of Bethelridge, departed this life on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Argyle on April 28, 1933, a son of the late James Clyde and Stacy Watson Foster.
Dale was formerly employed as a mechanic at Liberty Motors and was a farmer.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict, a member of Valley Oak Baptist Church, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 41, and a Kentucky Colonel.
Dale was united in marriage to Glennis Cravens Foster on Oct. 12, 1963.
Besides his wife, Glennis, survivors include a son, J.C. Foster of Bethelridge; a daughter, Saundra Alexander of Liberty; and five grandchildren, Brittney Gadberry, Cody, Jessica and Austin Foster, and Trevor Alexander.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Wesley.
Funeral services were March 1 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Merrick officiating. Burial was in Watson's Chapel Cemetery with military rites by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
