David D. Williams, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his residence in Florence, Ky.
He was born June 11, 1938 on Ragged Ridge in Casey County, the youngest of 11 children born to Marvice and Zettie Emerson Williams.
He is survived by three sisters, Clarice Floyd and Alline Luttrell, both of Yosemite, and Florence Plemmons of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and two brothers, Ronald Williams of Tucson, Ariz. and Donald Williams of Waynesburg.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister, Frank Williams, Ernest Williams, Reed Williams, Cleo Williams, and Hazel Bennettt.
David served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier "Saratoga."
He was given a very impressive military funeral by the U.S. Navy.
Burial was in the Kentucky Military Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, Ky.
