Dora Mae Asbury, 88, of Liberty, passed away Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Casey County Hospital.

Born Nov. 19, 1928, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Coy and Eva Maupin Cain. She was a former employee of Walgreens. Dora was a lover of life.

In addition to her parents, Dora is preceded in death by three sons, Charles Cain, Jerry Lee Pennington and Gary C. Pennington; and a brother, Benny Cain.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Brenda) Cain of Liberty; a daughter, Dawn Lynn of Liberty; a brother, Freddy (Joy) Cain of Yosemite; and three sisters, Bessie Grider of Liberty, Essie Haste of Indianapolis and Linda Roy of Liberty.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial follows in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

Visitaion is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Troy Sanders, Ray Weddle, Zach Weddle, Randy Atwood, William Noe and Joey Pollard.
