Dorothy Hendricks Durham passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 81. Born Oct. 14, 1932 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Flossie Richardson Hendricks. She was a homemaker and member of the Willow Springs United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Durham, who passed away Feb. 3, 1981; a daughter, Angela Durham; three brothers, William, Herbert and Ancil Hendricks; and four sisters, Celeste Schlensker, Beulah Edens, Ruth Cravens and Mary Godbey. Survivors include three sons, Chuck Durham, Randall (and Brenda) Durham, and Stanley (and Jennifer) Durham, all of Liberty; three daughters, Aunda (and Curtis) Cravens of Waynesburg, Anna (and James) Pittman of Sunbright, Tenn., and Regina (and Robert) Gilpin of Liberty; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Macie Raney of Liberty. Funeral services were Aug. 4 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Gale Durham and Bro. Steve Durham officiating. Ms. Dorothy was laid to rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eric Carman, Nathan Durham, Tyler Durham, Adam Durham, Aaron Durham, and Keith Durham.
