Dorothy Eileen (Woodrum) Hamm

Dorothy Eileen Woodrum Hamm, 88, of Liberty, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Liberty Care Center.

Born on Oct. 3, 1928, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Pearl Branick Woodrum. Eileen enjoyed cooking and sewing and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was a member of Gum Lick Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Harold Hamm, who passed away March 9, 2017. They were united in marriage Dec. 13, 1948; a son, Glen Hamm; and three brothers, Ray Mullins, Herman Woodrum and Jim Woodrum.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandy (Heber) Neff, Judy Allen and Vicky Brown, all of Liberty; two sisters, Juanita Harrison and Faye Sanders, both of Liberty; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Steve Martin officiating. Burial follows in Whited Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the funeral home.
