Edward Durham, 58, of Moreland, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

He was born Jan. 15, 1958, in Boyle County. He was the son of the late William Glenn and Maxine Roy Durham.

He was a retired corrections officer at Northpoint. Edward was a volunteer for the Lincoln County Emergency Management. He loved fishing, gardening, shooting and going camping. He was ham radio operator with the handle KT4HR. He was also an organ donor.

Survivors include his wife, Terease Stinnett Durham of Moreland; a son, Christopher Glenn (Veronica) Durham of Perryville; a daughter, Samantha Gayle Durham of McKinney; a stepson, Daniel Joseph (Deneva) Lirette of Lancaster; three grandchildren, MaKayla, Lucy Kate and Alex; and three stepgrandchildren, Reese, Ally and Maddie.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Jerry Brown officiating.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
