Frances Christine Hafley Hollon, 88, widow to Ralph Carlton Hollon, passed away, Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at Dover Manor in Georgetown.
She was born Feb. 25, 1927 in Boyle County to the late Arch and Mable Southerlan Hafley.
Frances was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and a former member of Town & County Homemakers.
She once loved working on quilts, and provided for many years loving childcare for many Scott County children.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Michael (Jennifer) Hollon of Maryville, Tenn.; daughters, Bonnie Rose Hollon (Bobby) Sturgeon of Paris, Ky., Marla Duprise Hollon Hall and Steve Hall of Lexington, Kathy LeVon Hollon (Gary) Nelson of Louisville; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, LeVon (Marshall) Wall of Lexington; three nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Hugh Hollon; and a sister, Juanita Edwards.
Funeral services were Dec. 29 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Fox officiating. Burial was in Gravel Switch-Elder Cemetery in Casey County.
