Frankie Lynn Gooch, 52, of Kings Mountain, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Casey County Hospital.

Born Sept. 26, 1964, in Lincoln County, he is the son of Adolphus Gooch and the late Shirley Napier Gooch. Frankie was a forklift operator for American Greetings and attended Grove Ridge Baptist Church. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt.

Besides his father, survivors include his two children, James Michael Gooch and Jennifer Aleasha Lynn Gooch, both of Kings Mountain; two grandchildren, Leah and Braylynn; a brother, Johnny Wayne (Carol) Gooch of Kings Mountain; and two sisters, Pam (Clayton) Crowley of Kings Mountain and Tammy (Jimmy) Horn of Stanford.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Tim Harris officiating. Burial follows in K.P. Hall Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jeff Greer, Clayton Crowley, Junior Rayborn, Jimmy Horn, Ben Bentley, Jacob Rayborn, Jeremi Luttrell and Cody Gooch.
