Freddie Bowmer of Liberty passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was 64. Born Sept. 15, 1950 in Danville, he was the son of the late Willie Clyde and Marie McBeath Bowmer. He mowed yards and loved to fish. Freddie was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a brother, Larry (and Rosina) Bowmer of Liberty; four sisters, Marcella (and Bobby) Maupin of Liberty, Alice Faye (and Tim) Smith of Lexington, Margaret (and Clifton) Hale of Liberty, and Ann Land of Louisville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Nov. 18 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl McAninch, Timothy Smith, Adam Smith, Chad Smith, Justin Bowmer and Aaron Bowmer.
