Helen Pittman, 67, of Campbellsville, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Born March 1, 1949, in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Maysel Alvina Adkins Babbs. She was a homemaker and attended God's Friendship Chapel in Campbellsville. Helen loved her pets and enjoyed sewing and working in her flowers.

Survivors include two sons, James Allen (Anna) Pittman of Tennessee, and Delmer Edward (Lana) Pittman Jr. of Campbellsville; two daughters, Rebecca Sue Pittman and Helen Roseann (Russell) Jefferson, both of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Dorothy) Knight of Idaho; and three sisters, Betty (Robert) Sharpe of Indiana, and Carol (John) Johnson and Ester Lynn Lawrence, both of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Delmar Edward Pittman Sr., who died Aug 16, 2007; a brother, Thomas Babbs; and a sister, Janice Babbs.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with to Brother Steve Durham officiating. Burial follows in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Eddie Pittman, Jeff Dobbs, Larry Pittman, James Pittman, James Baker and Aaron Dobbs.
