Herman Wethington, 82, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016.
A native of Liberty, Ky., he was the son of the late Amos and Mildred Wethington.
He was retired from the state government and a Korean War Veteran. Though Herman enjoyed many things in life, such as working in the yard and playing cards with his friends and family, his real passion was politics.
Herman is survived by his daughters, Sheila (Earl) Bell of Louisville, Pamela (Stanley) Green of Frankfort, Millie Mitchell of Frankfort, and Alma (Danny) Castle of Independence, a son, Bradley Moore of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Charlie Conway, Stan Green, Stacy Green, Amanda Presley, Katie Clark, Ryan Gipson, and Lauren Etherington; 11 great grandchildren; and two special nephews, Tim Wethington of Liberty and Jasper Wethington of Rockhill, AK.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Noel, Josephine Shivley, Ada Mea Carmon, and Gertie Atwood;and brothers, Preston Wethington, Dallon Wethington, and Donnie Wethington.
Services will be private. Arrangements were by Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort.
