Jerry Lee Lynn, 67, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, in Franklin.

Born May 1, 1949, in Liberty, to Mark Jr. and Dessie Marie Atwood Lynn. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Jerry was employee with Arvins as a welder, in Franklin and Greenwood, for 15 years. He was also a truck driver and did a little bit of everything in his life.

He enjoyed working on cars and watching westerns, NASCAR racing and Indianapolis Colts football.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Lynn Jr.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Dessie Marie Reeves of Franklin; a daughter, Amanda Cutliff of Olney, Illinois; three sisters, Loretta (James) Chumbley, Vickie (Steve) Johnson and Sandy (Raymond) Hodson, all of Franklin; a grandchild, Austin Cutliff of Terre Haute, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

The private family service will be held. Burial with military honors in Greenlawn Cemetery will occur at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, in Indiana.
