Jesse Washington Cain, 96, of Erlanger, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Florence Park Care Center in Florence.

Jesse was a food manager at St. Margaret Hall, retiring after 30 years of service and he proudly served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II and the Korean War.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Annalie Ranisch Cain; three daughters, Gale Steffens, Debra (Jim) Hoffman and Marie (Ron) Gilbert; a brother, Rich (Pauline) Cain; and four grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Webster, Lauren (Adam) Lux, Joel Cason and Kara (Scot) Patterson; and four great-grandchildren.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Rich Cain; and siblings, Carson, Roscoe, Ruby, Beulah and Opal.

Visitation for Jesse is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. The funeral is at 1 p.m.Thursday at the funeral home. Burial follows in Floral Hills Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be payable to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
