Kendall Wayne Woodrum passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his home in Casey County. He was 47. Born Sept. 18, 1966 in Boyle County, he was the son of Diann Murphy Woodrum of Liberty and the late Shearl Wayne Woodrum. He was a truck driver for Amazon and attended the Green River Valley Separate Baptist Church. Wayne loved Case Tractors and muscle cars. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Nicholas Wayne Woodrum (and fiancé, Lindsey Martin) of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Cierra Nicole Woodrum of Liberty; a sister, Sonja (and Jeff) Lynn of Liberty; a brother, Jonathan (and Lynn) Woodrum of Liberty; and special friend, Lisa Patton. Funeral services were Aug. 1 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial was in Green River Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be given to the , "Team Woodrum" c/o Sonja Lynn, 3365 Linnie Rheber Road, Liberty, KY 42539. Pallbearers were Nick Woodrum, Jonathan Woodrum, Todd Lynn, David Davis, Joe Phelps, and Phillip Woodrum. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Lynn, Tyler Long and Cody Morgan.
