Kermit J. Brockman passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at his home in Windsor. He was 75. Born Jan. 8, 1939 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Marion and Beulah Bernard Brockman. He was a farmer and retired from Green River Gate. Kermit was a member of the Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Rebia Luttrell Brockman, whom he married Nov. 9, 1963; a son, Allan Brockman of Windsor; a daughter, Sue Wethington of Windsor; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David (and Janice) Brockman of Milford, Ohio, Lloyd (and Laverda) Brockman of Russell Springs, and Dorman (and Modine) Brockman of Milford, Ohio; and a brother-in-law, C. L. Sayers, of Windsor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Herman Eads; a grandson, Kevin Eads; and a sister, Jerrence Sayers. Funeral services were Sept. 30 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ensley Wright Jr. officiating. Kermit was laid to rest in Birdie Russell Cemetery.
