Leo Duggins, 77, of Danville, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
He was born in Casey County on Dec. 4,1937 to the late Mitchel and Ollie Putteet Duggins.
Leo owned and operated Fred Cain Farm Equipment for more than 46 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. Most of all, he loved being with his family and was a member of the Calvary Middlesburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Faye Duggins; three sons: Jeffery K. Duggins (Rita) of Danville, Charles M. Duggins (Nell) of Casey County, and Greg A. Duggins of Danville; one brother, Gail Duggins (Mary) of Versailles; one sister Annetta Price (Ray) of Danville; eight grandchildren, Jeffery Duggins, Joseph Duggins, Justin Duggins, Jacob Duggins, Nicholas Duggins, Sara Duggins, Natalie Duggins, and Mitchell Duggins; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Rice.
Funeral services were April 9 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Rowe and Rev. Ernest Martin officiating. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Price, Joe Noel, John Adams, Tommy Minor, Freeman Maple, and Glen Wren.
Honorary pallbearers were Fred Cain employees, Dr. Bob Fowler, Dr. Sam Reed, Johnny Wilcher, George Travian, and Jimmy Overstreet.
