Micheal Shreve of Casey County passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 60.
Born Oct. 25, 1955 in Casey County, he was the son of Mitchel Thomas Shreve and Lila "Nellie" Clements Rodgers.
He was a self-employed logger and attended Pine Grove Community Church.
Survivors include his father, Mitchel Thomas (and Sandy) Shreve of Campbellsville ; mother, Lila "Nellie" Rodgers of Liberty; wife, Edna Followell Shreve; a daughter, Tana Michelle Shreve of Mannsville; three brothers, Jimmy (and Vanessa) Shreve of Campbellsville, and Mitchell (and Amanda) Eads and Gary (and Jessica) Rodgers, both of Liberty; seven sisters, Kathy Hearon of Campbellsville, Shannon Castillo of Columbia, Kay Lee of Dunnville, Ledia (and Dallas) Patten of Liberty, Brenda Williamson of Liberty, Lori (and Kevin) Rawlings of Campbellsville, and Jeannie (and Stan) Tungate of Lexington; special friend, Peggy Long of Liberty; and many special uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by stepfather, James Carrell Rodgers; a brother, Marcus Shreve; and a sister, Cleta Marie Rodgers.
Funeral services were April 25 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial was in Whited Cemetery.
