Ottis Lee Sandusky of Liberty died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Jean Waddle Care Center. He was 79.
Born in Casey County on Jan. 19, 1937, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Flora Alice Glover Sandusky.
He was a mason and former owner of Sandusky's Barber Shop.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of Atwood Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Murphy Sandusky; three daughters, Joan (and Charles) Graves of Georgetown, Jean (and Andy) Greynolds of Liberty, and Joann Sandusky-Pratt (and Darin) of Liberty; three grandchildren, Jeann and Mason Graves and Abbie Greynolds; three brothers, Charles Sandusky of Arizona, W.J. Sandusky of South Carolina, and Jerry Sandusky of Liberty; and two sisters, Inez Griffith of Liberty and Loretta Murphy of Russell Springs.
He was preceded in death by five siblings, Howard, Lyle, Sonny, Lucille and Maxine.
Funeral services were Dec. 10 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Nichols officiating. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery with military rites by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Charles and Mason Graves, Andy Greynolds, Darin Pratt, Brent Woodrum, David Wethington, and Paul Sandusky.
