Paul Glen McQueary passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at his home in Liberty. He was 63.
Born July 12, 1952 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Lee Otis McQueary Sr. and Nettie Knight McQueary.
He was a sawmill worker and gate hauler. Paul attended the Church of Christ. He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Cox McQueary, whom he married June 1, 1975; a son, Michael (and Tiffany Boyer) McQueary of Liberty; a grandson, Aiden; three brothers, James (and Kay) McQueary of Covington, Clifton McQueary of Liberty, and Leon (and Pam) McQueary of Liberty; and three sisters, Wanda Wilham of Danville, Mary (and Billy) Mills of Liberty, and Joann Rodgers of Liberty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Farley, Junior, Jack, and Marvin McQueary; and three sisters, Sherry Eads, Emma Belle
Brown, and Irene Peavley.
Funeral services were Jan. 4 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Thad Eubank officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Contown Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset funeral costs.
