Pauline Woodrum Marple, 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Born June 16, 1925, in Casey County, she is the daughter of the late Louie and Mecie Clements Woodrum. She was former employee of Liberty Sewing Factory. Pauline was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and she attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She loved to cook and quilt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Marple, who died in 2004; and a sister, Wanda Tincher.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Vickie) Marple of Liberty; a daughter, Janice (Ronald) Baird of Hustonville; four grandchildren, Sam (Charlie) Marple, Amanda (Darrin) Singleton; Kim (Sammy) Grimes and Jill (Tim) Thompson; 10 great-grandchildren, Hannah (Brent), Matthew (Kendra), Sarah Beth, Faith, Gracie, Zeke, Gabe, Layla, Lyla and Tommie; and two brothers, Jerald (Cheri) Woodrum of Louisville and Roger Woodrum of Russell Springs.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Brother Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial follows in Whited Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and will continue at 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tim, Sammy, Matthew, Sam, Jerald and Roger.
